Seing The Unseen

We complain.
When life never meets our expectation.
When we didn't get what we want, what we hoped, what we imagined.
When it's not the way we planned.

We complain.
When our house is smaller from others.
When the sun is scorching and the house is full of heat.
When it is raining, that we can't go outside.

We complain.
When the food tastes bad in a restaurant.
When moms cook a little bit salty, or tasteless.
When what we order is different from we get.
When we gain weight after eating.

We complain.
When we get a job but not our dream job.
When we have to go to school every morning.
When we get little allowance everyday.

We complain.
When our car is smaller than others
When we don't have enough money to buy accessories for our car.
When we use motorcycles and it is suddenly raining.

We complain.
When our parents don't fulfill our wish.
When our friends are not being understanding.
When we fight with our siblings.

We all complain.
If you don't, well, i complain. Everyday.

We only see things we want by ignoring what we HAVE.

Have you ever thought of the unseen things?

Unseen things.
Of homeless people who lives under the bridge.
Of refugees for not even have a fixed land to stand on.
Of people who built their 'home' from boxes.

Unseen things.
Of beggar who eats whatever they found in the trash.
Of poor people who eats only porridge or/with dried fish or/with soy sauce everyday.
Of handicapped people who use their feet to eat.
Of families that live in despair and poverty that is super skinny with disease.

Unseen things.
Of an unemployed father who just got fired or terminated,
Of children that study in a wooden school building.
Of people who starves to save money.

Unseen things.
Of families of three went back to hometown with luggage and bags with motorcycle.
Of a father who sent their kids with stuffs to university with motorcycle.
Of a worker that has only bicycle to workplace.

Unseen things.
Of orphans who'd never had parents.
Of feelings inside the heart of the only child in the family.
Of feelings felt by an isolated person for being nerd or extremely shy and super quiet.

We don't see.

Or we refuse to see.

Because we are too busy.

Looking up.

That we forgot.

That it's the bottom that catches us when we fall.

Be grateful.

Cause everyday is another piece of history to be written with colors.

Nota Kaki

Assalammualaikum.

Everyone has this thing called social network account, or maybe accounts.

Doesn't matter it is Instagram or Facebook, or Twitter, or Tumblr etc etc (name it all).

I bet everyone had done this before.

"Bukan satu dunia media sosial tu yang aku nak khabarkan, cuma aku tau, Kau akan terjalan jalan dan ternampak dan tertau. Tu yang aku mau. Tu nota kaki aku."

Dalam konteks ini, semua orang ada 'Kau' masing masing.
